The Ribbonsmyth has announced their winners for the April giveaway and I won a fabulous prize of Silk Ribbon, trims and embellishments! I've been wanting to get started in SRE (silk ribbon embroidery) and CQ (Crazy Quilting) for such a long time! This is my chance! I cannot tell you how excited I am! Thanks for letting me share my goodies with you! I'm looking forward to using them sometime. First I have to get some tatting UFO's turned into FO's and then I can start on learning a new skill! I'm also working on tatted gifts and swaps so those come first! PRIORITIES! LOL!

Hi Carla! I certainly have heard of Mark Meyers and Georgia Seitz! Georgia has a wonderful site and she does the online tatting class. Mark's fabulous website is down right now due to a problem with the server it was on, but he's got a new blog and some people have found his old pages via "The Way Back Machine". Oh, that is neat that you used to tat! I have some of each of their books.

Ooooh. Have fun with SRE! I tried doing some SRE a few years ago and found it to be a lot of fun. I didn't pursue it, because I had no idea what to do with the finished projects! After all, I already have a box of lace that just sits there, but CQ take up more space than lace. It sure is pretty and fun to do though!

Congratulations! She does have wonderful products. I had the chance to speak with her (and buy) at one of the local quilt shows. She is so talented. Hope you have fun with your goodies. It has been so long since I worked on anything.... :(

I have not met anyone else who tats. I have about 10 shuttles, five of which are from each of my grandmothers and my great grandmother.
