Happy Easter and We Have a Winner

Happy Easter! It is a lovely, sunshiny day here in southern California! I hope you have all had a lovely day so far! Here is a lovely Easter Graphic I have gotten from some lovely blogger somewhere and if you can refresh my memory as to where feel free to do so! I've been enjoying a small amount of dark chocolate and bunny shaped goodies. How has your Easter been? Later I'm going to a sweet friend's for Easter dinner!

Well the moment has come to reveal the winner to the blog giveaway to the "Learn to Tat" book, shuttle and 10 yards of size 10 Manuela green thread!
I went to Random.org and I was given #113 below~ out of 149 comments!
So after much contorting of one's head and body to figure out just who was comment # 113 because it was counted forwards and backward not once, not twice but thrice! It was concluded that Crazy Mom Tats was comment #113! Here is comment #113 below:

So, congratulations to Crazy Mom Tats! Thank you to all 149 comments that came to wish me a happy 2nd blogoversary! It was fun celebrating with you and most of all it is fun celebrating tatting with you and hearing what all of you had to say! Some of you shared some stories about seeing tatting for the first time or what tatting means to you. Others having been tatting for a long time! Some of you have this book already and others want this book so badly! Be sure to stop by her blog and congratulate her! Crazy Mom, I believe you may already have my comment on your blog by now so be sure to send me your contact information and I'll send your your goodies! :)
Also Happy Easter! This is a season of hope and renewal and I am grateful that my Redeemer lives! What a beautiful time of year! Be sure to say hello! Comments are always welcome here at TattingChic

XOXO

Happy Easter! :) The winner is a lucky lady!

Yes, Ordinarybutinteresting the weather has been fab, the earthquake not so much, but it could've been a lot worse!

Thanks Ann! I'm sure that Crazy Mom appreciates that!

Thanks Paula C!

Yes, Jo, that's correct! I'm fine. Everything is okay in our area! I haven't heard about the Baja California area so I hope the people in the area of Mexico are. Their building standards are much different, you know. It sure was shaking for a good minute and it was scary though!

Congrats again, Crazy Mom Tats! I'm glad you appreciate the prize! I am glad to hear you will use it and put it to good use! :)

Hey there Jessica friend! I am glad you came by to check out the winner! You are a sweet friend! Did you feel the earthquake in your area I wonder? I'll have to swing by your blog.

Hello Carolyn! I had a lovely Easter and a nice Easter dinner with friends complete with an Easter ham!

Thank you, Ninu!

Hi Twyla! Yes, I am okay! Thank heavens...I felt the earth move under my feet! ;)

Hi Susanne! Happy Easter to you, too! I am okay, thank you for your concern. It is the people in Mexico I am concerned about. Their building codes are not very up to date.

Happy Easter Tatting Chic :)

We actually reached the high 80's on Saturday here in S. Ontario. It is back down to 60 degrees today but a nice preview of Spring :)

Thank you Tracy, it was a blessed Easter weekend, I'd say having a 7.2 earthquake with nothing happening and aftershocks is indeed blessed! SIGH!

Thank you, Mahiru! I'm glad you had a weekend full of fun!

Hi Thimbleanna! I did end up having a nice Easter after all!

Hi Karen, sounds like a nice weekend!

Congrats to Crazy Mom Tats!!

Yay, Julia, your friend won the giveaway!

Thank you, Susanne, it's always nice to know that someone cares. It was scary while it was shaking even though there was no damage here. So knowing someone cares helps!

Thanks, Yarnjourney!

Congratulations to Crazy Mom Tats and Happy Belated Easter to you, Tatting Chic!

Please try to stay calm in your unsteady corner of Tat Land.

Unknown said...

I'm sure Crazy Mom appreciates the congrats. Please try to stay calm in the unsteady part of tatland? Not really sure what you mean by that Ishdihara. Do you mean the Earthquake? If that's what you mean it was calm about 5 minutes after it happened because that's how it is in So Cal. People talk about it and there's a buzz about it but they just don't freak out about stuff like that.
Happy belated Easter to you, too.
Have a super day!

So glad to have just found your blog. I have a ? about split rings. I've been tatting for about 15 years, but I'm just now trying split rings. I understand I need two shuttles, but do I tat "over" both threads until I need to split them? Do I start out with both threads at the beginning of the project, or only add the 2nd shuttle when I start the split rings.

Thanks!

I'm having surgery in about a week and I'm getting projects together for my hospital stay. I'm hoping to make some bookmarks for end-of-school teacher gifts and the pattern I like best has split rings.

Thanks for the info about my found pieces! I was unsure what they were, but your information helps greatly. I'll update my post accordingly :)
