No, really I am not bitter because 2008 was the year of the blog for me! When things got tough I started blogging. I have never really gotten into blogging before this year and I am so glad I did! My life has been greatly enriched by all the wonderful blogging friends I have made! Thank YOU! I appreciate the friendships I have developed over this year through blogging! I remember posting my very first post and I wondered if even 1 person would look at my blog! Okay. That's it! I gotta learn to tat! That snowflake is just GORGEOUS!!! Yup. That's gonna be my New Year's Resolution! I just this minute decided!
Making a mental note to pick up a tatting shuttle and a spool of tatting thread(bobbin? ball? skein? what DO you call a "thing" of tatting thread??) next time I'm in town. I understand there are some good tutorial videos online.

Oh, Karla! Good for you! Yup,it's a "ball of thread" and a tatting shuttle and you're good to go. Get a larger size thread. I always recommend crochet cotton size 10 because a larger size is easier to work with! Many people who have taught themselves by using online resources have told me that YouTube has some very useful vids! Oh, this is so exciting! I feel like a proud tatting mama, LOL!
